Travel from Livorno to Cinque Terre requires two train changes. Additional trains/changes may be rquired within Cinque Terre depending upon where you decide to go.

Train from Livorno Centrale to Pisa Centrale. 14-18 minute ride. Most trains are 2 cl only.

Train from Pisa Centrale to La Spezia Centrale. For optimum time in Cinque Terre, the IC 506 at 09:02 is recommended. There is a restaurant acr between 2cl and 1cl cars on this train. Purchase your Cinque Terre Treno card in the La Spezia station upon arrival.
